We are pleased to share with you the project of one of the four studios located on Grange Road SE1.The client set us the task of transforming two one-bedroom apartments into four studios. Each of the studios should have a full equipped kitchen, dining area, separated bedroom and full equipped bathroom. In the future. These studios should be rented on short term platforms such an Airbnb. This was quite a challenge given the original layout.

We managed to divide the space of the two-room apartment into two parts so that each studio received enough daylight. This is a very important criterion for comfortable living. We placed the kitchen and sleeping area along the common wall, thus freeing the rest of the space from overload, since each of the studios is less than 30 square meters. We have provided an air conditioning system for each of the studios since 30 square meters contains all the necessary living areas including the cooking area, ventilation and air conditioning play a key role. 

In the design of the studios, we opted for natural and recycled materials. We chose walnut for the kitchen facade, which is perfectly combined with a marble countertop. We chose European oak for the floor and off-white for the walls. 

We tried to recreate home comfort and maximum functionality of the space. To make tenants feel at home when they come to another city, and for some, another country.
